Izzie n Friends’ hand-painted batik Spring 2010 collection is now here!
Batik is a traditional art form found throughout Asia, and Malaysian batik is one of the highest quality batik found in the market.
Because of the technique and process of batik includes multiple stages of colouring and designs either stamped or drawn with a canting (liquid wax pen), each piece is uniquely crafted by hand, making it extra special for the little princesses who wear them.
The flower motif of our current batik collection is exclusively hand-painted/hand-made on colourful breathable 100% cotton. The colours chosen for all our batik collections reflect the vibrancy and multi-cultural influences in Malaysia. Since all of them have the element of our signature hand-painted batik motifs, there are only a limited number of pieces, making them totally exclusive as a perfect collector’s item and should be grabbed instantly.

Hand-smocked Collection - SALE!!
Our dresses are sewn in fine quality vintage material that is 100% cotton to ensure a nice fit for the little girls while being able to move freely due to its sheer comfort. The hand-smocking designs are only one in many as each is hand-sewn. We are also happy to present you fully hand-smocking designs that you don’t usually find in the mass market, all intricately crafted so that the dresses will not only make the wearers look good but are made to last longer as well. This is because we understand that traditionally, a well-made smocked dress will be a cherished heirloom piece that can be passed down many times. What’s more, the dresses can be worn on any occasions or seasons.

Hand-painted Batik Collection
Izzie’s favourite Nora Batik by Khalid is a beautiful A-line dress that is comfortable with plenty of room for your active princess to move about. She would look playful yet truly cultured in this bright coloured dress. What makes it more interesting is the buttons that are placed on its shoulder line – the buttons are of attractive contrasting colours that match the colours of the singular hand-painted flower at the bottom, further enhancing the cuteness of the wearer. As each flower is hand-drawn, no two pieces are absolutely identical.
The best part is the fact that this dress can also be worn as a top if the dress becomes shorter as your little princess grows or even as a jumper over her thick bodysuit and leg warmers during those cold autumn or winter. Who says Batik is boring?
